Because You're Worth It

Hey pretty lady -

I have a question for you.

Do you value yourself?

Have you noticed yourself thinking you can only be kind to yourself as a reward for a job well done?

Do you believe in yourself?

How often do you catch yourself muttering negative thoughts at yourself like, "I can't do this"?

Do you know how beautiful you are?

Are you pointing out each and every flaw whenever you glance in the mirror?

After talking with a few people, I've discovered many women refusing themselves the photography experience they deserve because of personal value blocks.

"My body just isn't where I want it to be to be photographed yet."

"I just have to lose 10 pounds and then I'll schedule."

"I do not photograph well."

Can I just remind you that there will never be the right time - that your children and spouse are growing older and time is moving on even though you may not feel ready? Ladies, you hold more value than you are giving yourself credit for. As mothers, you are wearing multiple hats on the daily that maybe you aren't always given credit for. Even though you may not always be reminded of this, your family sees you as MOM - full of wisdom, endless love, a support beam. Your value is undeniable. Your beauty shines out in more ways than your exterior appearance.

And you my dear, you are the only one who needs to believe this about yourself. It is important to remind yourself daily how much you love, believe and value yourself.

"But how?"

Sending yourself daily affirmations, surrounding yourself by positivity, celebrating each and every small or big success and spending 20 mins a day meditating are a few ideas to get you started.

I invite you to join me in this (totally free) 21 day Meditation Experience by Oprah & Deepak Chopra I have started just today:

Please know that I am in no way being asked or paid to do this; I simply want to encourage all of the incredible women around me who are beating themselves down to seek their worth. Dig deep. Find your value blocks and let them go. You deserve it. You deserve to know how beautiful you really are and how your family sees you.

I want to photograph you just how you are. Messy hair with a heart of full of love. When your children look back at that photo album or canvas in 25 years, will they see a woman who loves and believes in herself? Or are those precious photographic heirlooms still waiting for the scale to drop?

Love yourself!
