Samantha & David | Greenmead Historical Park Wedding

I met Sam in college and was geeked when she contacted me about photographing her and her fiance's love story. They drove up from lower MI and we met in Marquette, MI (college stomping grounds) for their engagement session. You may remember them as the adorable couple who went in the water fully clothed and smiled throughout their whole session. They are so in love and it was awesome. Anyways, fast forward to this past July where I took my turn driving downstate to them and got to photograph their wedding. HECK YES!

They tied the knot outside on the lawn at the Greenmead Historical Park with a lovely reception following at the Inn at St. Johns. Shoutout to the guy upstairs for turning the sunshine on, even though it was cranked on high at about 95 degrees that day!

As a special way to honor her father, Samantha sewed a material heart from his clothing into her dress. You'll also see she opted for a non-traditional first look with her grandfather after getting ready. His reaction and the groom's reaction had me grinning ear to ear behind my camera!
